Fall 2014 Program Schedule

Interfaith Forum of Greater Dayton Fall Programs

Fall Lecture series:  Perspectives on the Afterlife-- Including Who Gets to
Go to Heaven According to Each Faith Tradition

This series is a combination of lectures from various faith traditions on the topic and a book study.  We are reading the book Love Wins by Rob Bell, which reflects Bell’s changing thinking from a narrow understanding of who goes to a heaven to a broader one.  The last session of the series will be a panel response to Bell’s book from the traditions that addressed the forum at the October programs. We encourage you to read the book (although you do not have to have read it to attend the last session) and will have copies for purchase at the Oct. 12th and Oct. 26th presentations.  The cost for the book is $10.
